You'll catch it before any donor does — that's the point of the inbox. Reject it and ask again, or tighten your email templates; Road drafts from your real donor records and the templates you keep, so the more history it has, the closer it sounds to you.
No. The managed cloud is sign-up-and-import. Self-hosting is one Docker command, if your organization prefers to keep everything on its own server.
On your own server, if you self-host — including the AI, which can run locally via Ollama so donor data never leaves your machine. On the managed cloud, every workspace is isolated at the database level, we sign a DPA, and nothing is sold, mined, or shared. Either way, your full history exports to CSV whenever you want it.

No. Road is not a payment processor and never touches your money — gifts are recorded in Road from wherever you already collect them, and your processor's relationship stays yours. Native giving pages are in development and will carry a 0% platform fee when they ship.
